Our Story

Doug Whitaker opened the counter at Cleveland’s West Side Market in 1991 and we’ve been cutting meat the right way ever since. We work with the same Ohio suppliers our regulars know by name — Creekstone, Heffelfinger, Gerber, Daisyfield — and grind, smoke, and trim everything in-house. Three decades in, we’re still the bacon capital of Cleveland.
